Fall practice for Vanderbilt won't start this afternoon after all. Due to a misinterpretation of rules restricting teams to 29 preseason practice opportunities and the confounding factors of a Thursday night opener at Miami (OH) and fall classes starting on Monday rather than the usual Wednesday. Pushing back the start of practice one day allows the Commodores to avoid incurring a penalty from the NCAA that would result in the loss of practice opportunities.
